A position as a locally employed assistant at the migration section at the Consulate General of Sweden in Istanbul is available from January 2018. The position is full time.
The job involves receiving applications and interviewing applicants for resident permits. Interviews are held in Arabic and transcribed into English or Swedish. You will also perform other tasks as appointed to you by the head of section. You are required to be flexible, service minded and be able to work also under stressful conditions. You must have a very good command of Arabic and Turkish as well as Swedish or English. You must have a valid work permit in Turkey. Good IT knowledge is a must.
